Cheap Airsoft Guns
Airsoft is a sport like paintball in which projectile ball bearings of approximately 6mm or 8mm width are used to hit the opponents. These ball bearings are forced out using compressed gases like Green Gas or Carbon dioxide. This game was first introduced in Japan in the 1980s. Lately, the game has gained more popularity in America and Europe as well. The game is full of fun and allows the participants to have the fun of handling Airsoft guns which are replicas of real military firearms. For instance, Classic Army M15A4 (Airsoft gun) is a replica of assault rifle M16. There are three types of Airsoft guns: spring, gas and electric powered Airsoft guns. These types are actually classified based on the principle they use to operate. Airsoft guns during the early days were mechanized using springs later the enhanced versions used gas to operate the gun. Now, the latest models of Airsoft guns available in the market are motor operated. These types of guns were available few years ago as well but they are considered not to be as good as gas operated Airsoft guns as their BB velocity was less when compared with gas Airsoft guns. However, the range would be greater sometimes. Spring Airsoft guns are best for beginners as they are easy to handle, durable, easily available and they are cheap well. MP5 SD3 is the most popular model of spring Airsoft guns. It is mainly made of ABS plastic with some metal for inner components. It features a mock silencer and metal retractable stock as well. It weighs 2. 89 pounds and can fire at a rate of 270 feet per second. The upgraded model of this type comes with improved range. In gas Airsoft guns, the gas is pressurized and stored in liquid form in a chamber. From here the liquid is gushed into the fire chamber were the liquid expands and the gas released propels the BB (ball bearings) with high pressure. There are two types of gas Airsoft guns and they are, blowback guns and non-blowback guns. Non-blowback Airsoft guns are cheaper than blowback guns but the most preferred model is blowback type of gas Airsoft guns as this gives a more realistic feeling. In this model, the gas blown back resets the internal mechanism of the Airsoft gun and keeps it ready for the next shot. Electric Airsoft guns are very different from other types of Airsoft guns as they are powered by an onboard battery which drives a motor compressing and pushing the piston. The air created by the piston propels the BB. This type of Airsoft guns are also called automatic Airsoft guns as they are more sophisticated and their range features from 200 to 400 feet per second. This was again designed by the Japanese in 1990s after identifying the increased popularity of the game in the West and the search for a better model Airsoft guns. Though these models are designed in Japan, Airsoft sports enthusiasts in the West readily welcome all new models. About the Author
