Do you know what is depression? People may think, depression would make you feel blue or down for a period of time. Yes, it is a quite serious problem, because you have suffered from full-blown clinical depression, and you need a treatment.

Professionals always say, The causes of depression are numerous. Depression is marked by feeling down, unexplained aches and pains, headaches, loss of energy, fatigue, excessive sleeping or insomnia. They say, the symptoms also include feeling overwhelmed, feeling hopelessness, appetite changed, interest in things previously enjoyed diminished, difficulty focusing or concentrating, and so on.Professionals say, depression can be very mild, it also can be very severe, even lead to suicide.

Like anxiety, some people think depression occurs only when there is a genuine reason for it. However, they are wrong, depression can occur due to a chemical imbalance in the brain.

We have to admit, it is perfectly normal to feel a little blue or down from time to time. But once the problem is prolonged, people who have those feelings will be diagnosed as
depression, they will be asked to have a treatment. But someone may ignore it, they think they don't need any treatment. Some people may find it too embarrass to have a treatment.

Also, there is a lot of people fear medication that is used in the treatment. For these people, we suggest that they can have depression treated by counseling. And for these milder depression sufferer, we suggest that they can simply resolve the problem by talking to a trusted friend.

When you or your friends can't controll your emotion, can't help crying, when these symptoms last for more than 2 weeks, and prevent you from participating in your usual activities, you'd better seek help, to have a treatment.
